Walk across the creek on the catwalk bridge from the cabin into the George Washington National Forest. Three miles away is the Appalachian Trail and the well known "Swinging Bridge". Wintergreen Ski Resort, Sherando Lakes National Park and some of Virginia's finest wineries are within a 15 minute drive.

Stay warm by the woodstove or the outside fire pit, the choice is yours. After a day of hiking or swimming in the local Tye River swimming hole, the kids will stay busy playing Foosball or darts in the game area.
