You'll feel like you're far away from it all, but attractions are close by. Sounds of nearby waterfall will lull you to sleep in this four-bedroom, two-bath home in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Enjoy hiking, nearby golf courses or water sports at Lake Lure. Asheville, NC is home to many cultural events, shopping and great restaurants and is just 20 miles away.

Our home is centrally located to many spectacular scenic areas such as Chimney Rock (filming location of "The Last of the Mohicans"), with its sweeping mountain vistas, and quaint downtown along the Broad River. Take the kids to play in the refreshing river waters or at the beach at Lake Lure. Elegant and casual fine dining abound.

Take a boat tour of Lake Lure and see the filming location of the movie "Dirty Dancing." If you love to shop for handmade crafts or locally grown foods and honey, Gerton is seven minutes from the cabin and Black Mountain, Asheville, and Hendersonville are just 25 minutes away! Numerous golf courses are nearby.
