Our one and two bedroom traditional Appalachian style log cabins are situated one mile from Nantahala Lake, in the heart of the Nantahala National Forest in the Great Smokey Mountains. The wide choice of activities range from horseback riding, gem mining, canoeing, whitewater rafting, taking a canopy tour via zip-line through the forest or hiking the well known Appalachian or Bartram trails, which run through our area. We are also close to the Great Smoky Mountain Railway, Cherokee Reservation, Biltmore House and the local towns are great for shopping and hunting for antiques. For the fishermen, this area also has the best fly fishing in Western North Carolina.
