Hello! Welcome to Our Mountain Homeplace. We are located approx. 12 miles east of Damascus, Va. We are 4 miles from Whitetop Station where the Creeper Trail begins. We are 2 miles from Green Cove station and about 2 1/2 miles from the Creek Junction trail entrance. We renovated our childhood home completely and opened it to rental customers in 2012. It is constantly updated to make sure our customers enjoy their stay. It has two bedrooms, both with queen beds. There is also a queen size sofa sleeper in the living Room. Both bedrooms have flat screen TV's with their own satellite receiver. All Linens are furnished and we promise that when you stay with us, you can be assured that everything, including bedspreads are laundered after each customer! We have two full-sized bathrooms. One has a stand up shower and the other has a tub and shower combo with curved shower rod. Both baths are beautifully furnished. You will love our large living room with a 42' flat screen TV that has its own DVR. We have just added an electric fireplace in 2014 that will make you feel toasty when the nights are cool. High Speed Internet Access (WIFI) is provided for those who need their laptops! Our living room has plenty of comfortable seating and its own gorgeous, original hardwood floors.

There is a porch/sun room with sliding glass doors, windows that open on each end and plenty of comfortable seating. You can sit and have your morning coffee while relaxing and watching the world go by! Outside you will find two gorgeous acres with a new picnic area with plenty of seating, gas/charcoal combo grill (charcoal furnished), picnic table, rock fire pit (wood furnished), and several furnished games including horseshoes, badminton and volleyball (with permanent net),croquet and corn toss. Come stay with us and enjoy our mountain heritage. We will do everything we can to make you feel right at home!

NOTE: We always love hearing from our customers but at times we are out of cell phone range, so please leave us a phone message, text message or e-mail and we will be back in contact with you within a short time period. Our e-mail is checked hourly. You can also book with us immediately by credit card online by going to our web site (under guest contact information) and clicking reservations. Another thing to note is that our price (125/night) includes everything so there is never any hidden charges.
